Self-acceptance symbol

The symbol has been inspired by the painting “Self-acceptance in society” from the educational film of the Foundation Self-acceptance and visualize the phenomenon of self-acceptance.

Self-acceptance is the basis for a person to function and to feel good. The little white heads demonstrate the dare to be not visible in society, as opposed to the large figure. The large figure has self-acceptance, is balanced and stands firm at its base with his arms in the side. The small figures with arms up however, call for help and have no firm foundation, are not balanced and uncertain. The different colors in the artwork express the relationship that self-acceptance has on each person. The White heads demonstrate the dare to be not visible in society, as opposed to the large figure. Self-acceptance refers to each individual, we are all different to each other and thereby unique.
